Transportation Services: The limited amount of public transportation in our vast seven-county region creates a huge obstacle for clients. In order to stay healthy, individuals must have access to medical treatment, support groups and other vital services. ARCS provides more than 12,000 transportation rides per year for clients affected by HIV/AIDS. These services are available to ARCS' clients as well as to HIV-positive clients of other organizations.

Westchester County Medical Center-Mobile Unit A Division of the AIDS Care Center: The Mobile Medical Van is a fully equipped mobile medical unit that provides comprehensive and confidential HIV primary care and support services to persons at risk for HIV infection and those previously diagnosed with HIV or AIDS. The Mobile Medical Unit provides care to all individuals regardless of ability to pay. The Mobile Unit is onsite at ARCS Hawthorne office on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Mondays of each month from 9AM-12 noon.* For information regarding other locations where the Mobile Unit can be accessed please call 914-493-1273.
